Harvey World Travel POS

A system was developed to replace the Travel X application used in some of the Harvey World Travel franchise sites. A web based solution was developed to allow staff to enter foreign exchange purchases and travelers cheque sales.
A reporting engine was incorporated into the system to allow the owner to monitor the different sites and analyse the performance of their business.
 

Baybridge Lawyers Web Portal

Baybridge Lawyers, a franchise law firm wanted to get an edge over their competitors. A web portal was developed to allow Baybridge Lawyers clients’ to log in and preview the status of their legal proceedings. This allowed the client to monitor how their matter was progressing, and determine how much longer it would take for things to be finalised. This also saved Baybridge Lawyers a lot of time in answering client phone calls regarding updates on the status of their particular issue.
 

Ray White Concord

The ray white concord website database was redesigned and customised to allow them to manage their rental, sale and auction properties. The new site now allows their clients to browse the site for the desired property, and then make an enquiry online.
 

School of Mining Engineering, University of New South Wales

The School of Mining and Engineering, UNSW called upon Empower IT to develop an online web portal to manage student Industrial Training. The system was developed with a state machine and a workflow engine to track the student details, performance and various other measureable aspects throughout their industrial training. The system also stores a database of employers which can used by the university for marketing purposes.
 

Online Donations System, Human Appeal International

A total website solution was developed to allow Human Appeal International (HAI) to receive real-time online donations. The web application needed to be integrated with HAI backend office software to allow customers to donate seamlessly via one of their offices, over the phone, or via the internet. The automated integration of the online donations website and the backend office software saved HAI time and money, and has provided them with a comprehensive solution.
 

Staff Web Portal, Canterbury & District Soccer Referees Association

A web portal was developed to allow members of C&DSRA to log in and view their match assignments online. Prior to the development and introduction of the Web Portal, it used to be one staff members’ full time job to make phone calls and inform referees on their match assignments. With the use of the new database system this time has been significantly reduced, and the staff member is free to do more important administrative tasks.
 

Tuition Admin System, Alpha Omega Education

Empower IT developed and implemented a system allowing after hours tutoring and educational companies to maintain students, teachers and class rolls. It was designed to be used as an invoicing system, to keep track of client (student) payments, and comes with an integrated Crystal Reports engine, with over 20 reports, summarising financial and other information.
